Driving back to Atlanta..to watch the Daytone 500...then packing up and getting ready to head to Mobile tuesday...Don't feel like doing any of that, so I guess pretty soon me and pops are going to go get lunch.

Oddly enough there are times I actually do what I'm supposed to be doing and still post anyway. Taking my son to a birthday party in abut 5 minutes. Then have gotta work on the broken sump pump in the basement. Then am meeting friends for lunch. Blah, blah.

A presentation booklet that goes to the County Executive this week
Full Page Newspaper Ad
5 Direct Mails
Half Page Newspaper Ad
Two Business Cards, logo spec, etc.

That's off the top of my head. This doesn't look promising.

I should be looking for a new job because my current one barely keeps me above the mendoza line aka poverty level.

Only to have to unfold them as she dries off Hegel, and the rest of the room, after a beer shower gone awry.

I don't have anything I'm supposed to be doing. I cleaned yesterday. It's rainy and snowy and icy and cold out so not going anywhere.

So son is playing with his pokemon cards, Josh is off doing the errands I sent him on, dinner has is being taken care of by the crock pot and I'm going to sit down and finish the book I started last night that I"m practically done with already(in the book's defense it's short) Ocean In Iowa by Peter Hedges. Which is an incredible and touching story.

Yeah, I've actually been getting stuff done this weekend, but I only seem to do that when I've got a deadline right in front of me.

All weekend I've been working on something for my class to use for their assignment starting tomorrow night. I'm still kinda worried that I'll be working until late tonight, but I at least know it's not because I didn't put in enough time yesterday.

Now, last weekend... that was a different story.

Was supposed to go out with a couple of friends while the kids were at a birthday party, but they haven't shown up yet.

But the boss gave me another case of Sam Adams for filling in for him last week, so I'm enjoying the bribe while waiting. Lisa can drive this time.
