So I'm flipping through the channels.

Dr. Doolittle on FX
Life on TnT
Beverly Hills Cop on Comedy Central.

wtf.

You could extend that to Murphy Mania - Charlie Murphy was just on Chappelle's Show.

Someone made a disparaging post about Joe Piscopo once...ONCE.

I actually thought Life was one of the better later-period Eddie flicks. Nothing like his heyday, but better than forced dreck like Nutty Professor or that one where he's in space.

Also, didn't he make a movie abouta haunted house? Anyone else find it ironic that he made a movie contracidting one of his funniest bits from Delirious?

The Haunted Mansion movie was only like last year, and it was a movie based on the Disneyland ride.

Yeah, but remember when he was like "When a brother here's them voices, he's gonna be like, Aight, we gone"? That was some funny shit. How far the mighty have fallen.

That's what I'm told. I don't really watch cartoons...just a personal bias.

According to imdb.com, the guy's name is Hal Havins, but I can't find a single image of him anywhere on the internet.

I guess you'll just have to either watch it or take my word for it.

I hated shrek....And, yes, I think of Life as being a possible latter-career high point for him, but it has comedy poison (Martin Laurence) as the co star...

I can't even think of a movie I truly liked him in since "Bowfinger", and that was A) largely due to the comedy genius of Steve Martin, and B) at least 6 years ago...

It's been downhill for Eddie since he decided to give a lift to that transexual.

I could be wrong, but I believe Eddie has said he will never do a movie anymore that is not "kid friendly".

I always thought the security guard that almost catches the dude in the control room in Ocean's Eleven resembled FT.

Well, I read an interview with Charlie last month in which he stated that he and Eddie are working on a movie together, and that this wasn't the pansy-ass disney Eddie we've all come to expect in the post T/S ridesharing days. From the way he was talkin' (and granted, this is Charlie Murphy so it's gotta sound awesome) it's going to be a true return to form, so let's hope for the best.

That said, I'd like to invite everyone to the Eddie Murphy standup marathon i'm going to throw for myself whenever i've got enough time off to get myself good and liquored up. Not that any of you assholes are gonna show up...
