Is their latest album, Lust Lust Lust, a 2007 or 2008 release?

I've seen it listed for '08 as well.

Actually that isn't always the release date. Case in point, the Shaky Hands self-titled has 2006 on it but was released spring of 2007. Just sayin'.

Regarding "Lust Lust Lust", Amazon says:

Audio CD (December 4, 2007)
Original Release Date: February 19, 2008

I'm pretty sure it's 2007. You can buy it on Amazon and various electronic sites (like Napster) already.

I heard a song the other day I think was from their last album. It was playing in some store we were Christmas shopping in, and I was wandering around trying to find the speaker to stand right under it.

All I find is over-priced import versions locally. Amazon has it listed as available but says it won't ship until after xmas. A couple other sites don't have any release date but are taking pre-orders. It's out in the UK now, I know. But, if the US release is yet official or will wait 'til next year, I have no idea. If anyone has an actual CD instead of the MP3s and wants to burn me a copy, my gratitude will be sincere...'cause I'm tired of waiting, but don't feel like shelling out the cash for the expensive import versions I've seen so far.

OK, so after doing some research, every site I've checked has a 2008 release date in the US...

Yeah, it's really confusing. It's available on Napster and stuff, which are US only.

I normally go by the first release date no matter if it's US or not, but you may play by different rules.

I generally go by AMG, who have it listed as a 2008 release.

Yep, they're both reasonable methods. Just different.
