im just saying, they arent exactly the juggernaut anymore. theyve looked pretty beatable 3 out of the last 4 weeks. but, it hasnt happened, so they still have scoreboard on everyone else.

Even with the All-World receivers, Gregg Easterbrook's Wet-dream offenisive line, & a defense that doesn't quit (literally, in the case of Seau & Bruschi), the Pats are regressing to the form of the three Super Bowl winners. All won the big game on field-goals from Vinatieri. You Boston Sports Brahs better just hope that the Polish Pauper Gostkowski has it in him.

No. Refers to a video monologue from Laurence Maroney that advises you to drink KoolAid, do something involving "construda", & wash your ass (which came out as 'wash u ass').

Don't worry, though. I always mistake it for advising the supermanning of coeds from Washington University, too.

Packers over the Pats in the super bowl. Favre goes out on a high note to end all high notes.

I can dream.

Moving Belichick's record to 5-2 in Super Bowls. 2-0 as Giants assistant, 3-1 as Pats head coach, 0-1 as Pats assistant. Those two losses? To Favre.

did any of you watch the game? the pats ran it all day long when they wanted and how they wanted. i also like the concept that the pats will be relying on late field goal attempts to win. when is that going to start exactly?

The fact that the Eagles beat the Cowboys, were within one play of beating the Patriots, and one muffed punt from beating the Packers makes me hate this season even more.

I have no idea if he's thinking of playing next year - I thought he was talking of bowing out last year. But I think if he pulled off a superbowl victory over an undefeated team, it'd be one hell of a way to go out (especially following a year where he set those records). Beats coming back next year and potentially having a mediocre/poor year, or getting himself a serious injury to dwell on in retirement.

I guess if it were me and I pulled that upset off, I'd go out.

I think teams would've been too suspicious of his injury if they tried to trade him last year. Also, Donovan is one of the greatest quarterbacks of his era, right behind the top tier of Brady and Manning. The one year the Eagles got him a great receiver they went to the Super Bowl, and came damn close to winning it. Hell, McNabb almost led the Eagles to the Super Bowl in 2003, when his 3 best receivers were James Thrash, Todd Pinkston, and Freddie Mitchell. People need to get off McNabb's jock. I don't have a problem with the Eagles trading him if they really think that's in their best interests. However, I'd much rather see him stay.

donovan is one of the greatest quarterbacks of his era? thanks for making me spit coffee all over my damn keyboard, jerk! first of all, bringing an nfc team to the superbowl doesn't impress me. secondly, the receiver you are talking about is probably going to the superbowl this year and was a play away last year, speaking more to his ability to get there than the qb's. besides, look at manning this year still getting it done without harrison and brady has never had the same receiving corps twice. and last, but certainly not least in the least...

'great' quarterbacks put together some kind of drive on the final possession of the damn superbowl. i'm not saying they punch it in every time, but they put something together. donovan vomits in the huddle in that situation. see the difference?

i could make a long list of mcnabb-era qbs who are better than donovan, but you are aware that you just put him ahead of the all time passing leader, no?
