Picked up this X DVD yesterday. I haven't had a chance to watch it yet but it looks like it should be cool. I guess it was filmed back in the mid-80s.

From the package, I can't tell if it's just a concert video or if there's other footage also.

Anyone seen it?

X: The Unheard Music at Amazon

It's a bit of both, though there's probably far more documentary footage than live stuff. Interesting points are DJ Bonebrake playing the looney tunes song on the xylophone and Exene discussing what a bitch Debbie Harry was to her. There's also a great scene of them rummaging through the remains of the former Masque club. I'd definitely put this among the best rock films out there, though I wish they could've gotten some extras on that DVD. I mean the band is more or less still together the least one could do is put them in the same room for commentary or even a bonus live shot.

I liked the part in the film where the A & R guy from their label talks about how huge the band "Point Blank" are gong to be. Then the film maker show a Ford Edsel clip.

One of my favorite bands. I need to check this out.
