"It's all about..."

As in: "Oh man, it's all about chicken soft tacos!"

This one should have gone the way of "Not!" at least 2 years ago.

i wrote down a couple from work:

the whitest black man I've met, towards someone who was joking around with him, and in true Wayne's World fashion: "Asshole says what?"

second, a conversation between two people at work:

girl: "hey, who sings that "Let It Be" song?
guy: [raised eyebrow] That would be The Beatles.
girl: "Oh really? Huh. I like that song."

I agree Aaron... my sister, who is 44, uses the "I'm all about" phrase all the time. It irritates me beyond belief.

I hate the "word" guesstimate.

And synergy is really getting on my nerves.

Here's a question... who comes up with the slangspeak for business? Just 2 or 3 years ago, my team had meetings on "disaster recovery," meaning exactly what it sounded like-- a fire burns down the building, how do we recover all of our critical files/servers/etc.?

Some time during the last year, disaster recovery morphed into "business continuity planning." Wha???

I finish up at work this week because my position has been 're-engineered'.

Last night during the Notre Dame-Uconn game, Sean McDonough said something to the effect that Boone fouled the Notre Dame guard on a "reacharound." Nearly spit out my milk.

I don't mind "Holla", if done as a singular phrase...

I am extremely annoyed by "Hella", which is a mortal enemy of mine...

Also, the imitations of Dave Chapelle's imitation of Lil' John have to stop sometime soon...right?

Saying "hella" should be punishable by electric chair.

when teenage black girls call the radio and want to give a shout out to their "baby boo" . . . it's the cutest thing in the world.

I use this occasionally and it's meant to be ironic.

As in...."Hey look, I'm saying this in attempt to make fun of rednecks".

Doesn't really work because after 8-9 beers....I am, in fact, a redneck.
