 Post subject: pdf plugin for word?

hey, isn't there something that you can use with msWord to let you save it as a pdf? i can't find anything but i feel like it's out there.

In the full version of Acrobat it installs something called PDF Maker (on the Mac anyways) which basically installs a plug-in in the Office/Startup/Word folder. I'm not sure what the PC version does.

In OSX you can just print and click the "Save as PDF" button.

yeah but i don't have or want the full version of acrobat. It turns out that there's a converter that installs as a printer available at sourceforge.net, so i'm good. thanks!

I don't know about Word. Openoffice.org will let you export to a PDF file.

This will let you create a PDF file from any Windows program.

EDIT: But you seemed to have found it already.

i've got OO on my laptop but i don't want to install it on this POS work machine. what you suggested was what i ended up using. thanks everyone.
