IRVING, Texas -- Drew Bledsoe set passing records and reached the Super Bowl as a young quarterback playing for Bill Parcells in New England. Nearly a decade later, the duo will try doing it again with the Dallas Cowboys.

Bledsoe was to be introduced at a 3 p.m. news conference at team headquarters Wednesday afternoon, one day after he was released by the Buffalo Bills.

I think that all of the Pats fans should be shaking in their boots right now. A Bledsoe-Parcells team VS The Pats in the Super Bowl? There's no way Brady could Montana his way out of that one....

How Bout Them Cowboys?

This move guarantees that the Eagles will win the division again.

Terrible move IMO.

Bledsoe = Poor man's Marino

As in great arm but couldn't lead his team out of a paper bag.

This move guarantees that the Eagles will not win the division again next season, as their individual "stars" will be resting on their "actually got to the Super Bowl" laurels while Washington goes through their annual offseason retooling, the NY Giants pin their hopes on the inferior Manning, and Parcells quietly, through free agency and the draft, builds a hard-nosed collective of warriors ready to win it all...

I'm mixed on this. If it gets Henson to a place where he's the QB of the future (remember how well Bledsoe treated TBrady that first SB run) this move is genius. If Parsmells is gonna bail, and leave the team saddled witha QB JJ doesn't really want, then we go back to square one. Time will tell, but Parcells does have the track record of building winners.

<====Looking forward to being able to rock my #1Diamondave jersey proudly next year.

Word has it that only JJ is still high on Henson throughout the organization...

Hmmm....young emerging runner, not quite "fading" star QB, solid recievers with some star quality, emerging tight end... Can anyone else say 1991 Giants offense?

where's the old-ass running back that chews yards and younger-6-kids-out-of-wedlock-having 3rd down back/special teams player?

(i.e. OJ Anderson and Li'l Davey Megget)

Richie Anderson plays the OJ role, except with less Nicole Brown killings...

As far as the third-down guy, I don't think they have one yet but, then again, I haven't been monitoring Woody (Tiny) Danzler's personal life lately... Maybe Eric Metcalf is still out there somewhere...

I'm really starting to chalk more & more of Parcell's success over the years up to Bill Belichick.

Bledsoe is NOT the answer...& I like the guy.

QB was the least of the Cowboys problems.
that team is terrible and an old over the hill QB isn't going to solve anything. The Redskins and the Giants are still both a huge mess.

Iggs win the division easy again.
