Well, I was supposed to be down there yesterday, but the client flaked on getting the office space, so there's no real point. IN the interim, I had been talking to people in DC, and now that I have a window, I am going up there Friday for interviews at the DCCC, the DSCC and the DNC.

I need some serious obner mojo to pull this one off, so send good vibes my way. :D

Just do the *exact* opposite of whatever Busty would do...

I figured I'd go in and act like Ashtray does in "Don't Be a Menace"

Receptionist: "May I help you?"
Me: "I heard y'all n#gga#s was hirin'"
Receptionist: "Yes sir, please fill out these forms"
Me: "Makin me write and shit. Y'all wouldn't be makin me write if I was white."

I'm guessing this strategy can't fail.

Interviewing for the DNC? Just let loose some mighty Howard Dean-style "Whoops" to introduce yourself...

The deflowering of the interns comes later...

P.S. Good Luck...

Try to carry a pen knife on the plane, then raise a stink at security.

I'm flying. With the time arrangements its cheaper, and faster and much, much safer. IN tomorrow night, out Saturday midday.

I've definitely done drives like this before, but that was back in my younger days...right now I'm so damn lazy that I'm dreading the drive from my dad's back to ATL.

Ah. I guess that makes more sense. I just know that you'll drive anywhere at the drop of a hat usually. Still should make a mix though. Something to pump you up. And DO NOT TAKE A BOTTLE OF VODKA ON THE PLANE LIKE YOU AND BLOOR USUALLY DO!!!

I mean, unless you want to, or think you should.

I think I'll refrain from the Vod, thanks or the advice. I just hope that all this fucking snow doesn't fuck me up.

See if you can get a layover out here on the way back, eh? It's right on the way.

Don't forget the ubiquitous blazer and shades, tho... can't have people thinking you're not a rockstar.

Well, I mean, I started it, so it's not really a hijack.

I think you can get 60 posts if we re-hash our conversation from the other night Chris ;)

But it helped, see?

Plane leaves 2:30 tomorrow. Can't decide whether to boogie now or in the morning.

That seals it he wrote, in a supine position on the couch, a fresh Guniess in hand. I shall leave on the morrow.
