OK- Ryan Adams is relasing 3 more records this year including a double album. This guy is ridiculous.

hey, at least he's not slaughtering 3 homeless people in a winter streak, right? I mean, there are worse people to be putting out that many albums. Or people that could still misfire and lose and sliver of quality control left in their system. Can you imagine if Modest Mouse put out 3 albums this year? You know what, I totally think Modest Mouse SHOULD put out 3 albums this year. Just they have to be progressively crackier and rapeier, and then pop radio would just implode with sweet sweet comeuppance.

I like Ryan Adams...

He released 3 albums (ok, one album and two EPs) in 1993, then took last year off due to some hand problems...

And, I can't believe you'd be upset about this without realising that:
A) One of these is a double disc, and
B) He usually schedules to put out 3+ albums a year, yet 1-2 only make it out alive due to (judging by "rock n roll") some shady QC issues...

That being said, I think this is more of a rant than the original one, and I happen to like the lil' bugger...

I am a fan. I think that the "Love Is Hell" EPs he put out last year are some of his best work to date. And I heard one of the new songs on his website not too long ago and thought it was pretty good. I for one am looking forward to any amount of releases.

This is a good point. Somehow he always manages that 13% to be good enough for me to buy the album. Of course, I'd say it'll be more like 21% but be dispersed throughout all three releases requiring me to buy all of them.

Can't be any worse than this guys......and I still like his records.....
