I just check her out at this page (http://ride.kiev.ua/content.html). I have never heard her before but was familar with the discussions about her.

Based on this initial listen, I have to admit feeling a little odd. I didn't hate it immediately nor did I love it. I think I could see how she could grow on you. Although I did find her voice occasionally a little silly at times.

It was a grower for me as well, and it is not something I thought I would like.

I wanted to watch this because I have yet to make up my mind (I've heard very little), but I forgot.

I didn't really add anything, but now you know my feelings regarding her.

i tried listening to the album on a walk to class once. didn't make it past the first few steps.

so i figured i'd watch last night. she's still completely bizarre, but i could see myself coming to like it at some point.

I don't think she's bad so much as scarey. She needs to be doing like a Wes Craven soundtrack or something. She just creeps me out.

I will NEVER be converted. I'm pretty tolerant and can almost always see the good in something but I hate this nu folkie crap.
