It was my last day at work today.

We went out to a boss sanctioned extra long two hour lunch. Twenty four people came to the Indian restaurant.

Then 'we' went out for drinks after work. I say 'we' because one person turned up, just barely scrapping a 'we'.

So let's just go over those figures again. At lunch WHEN YOU GOT AN EXTRA BOSS SANCTIONED HOUR ADDED ON TO YOUR BREAK - twenty four (24).

After work WHEN YOU HAVE TO TAKE TIME OUT YOUR OWN SCHEDULE - one (1).

This, I'm sure you'll agree, is a startling disparitiy in numbers.

I hope the one (1) bought you a mighty large drink.

Or vice versa, seeing as (s)he was the only person who afforded you your due respect.

Do you need more proof that you're better off without this job?

Yea, I miss Gina. I wonder what she is doing now, and what music is deemed 'kewl' this month?

np: Meat Puppets - New Gods

I always write things like "You still owe me a bologna sandwich" or "Now that you're gone, your stapler is mine" in these cards, myself.

np: Neil Young - Peace and Love

My wife's boss just retired yesterday after 32 years. She made him a card that said "You Owe $3 in the Coffee Fund. "
