Yes, shmoo will be in Chicago yet again next weekend. I arrive Thursday (3/3) and am there through the weekend, though my Friday and Saturday are filled with Chicago GSB admitted student weekend activities (including Whirlyball!). So, I'm not sure if I'll have time to see any of you guys, but potentially Thursday... I'm staying at the Sheraton on East North Water Street (yes, east north, I don't know what that means).

I believe that is the Sheraton right downtown, on the river. You're just east of Michigan Ave. and right next to NBC Tower. It's a very nice hotel. I used to work right there (the Equitable Building @ 401 N. Michigan Av.) Hopefully I'll get a chance to see you this time, although late nights this soon after surgery are still out-of-the-question for me. Drop me a PM and I'll get you my phone numbers; maybe we'll be able to hash something out.

Whirlyball = the shit.

Bring a bottle of scotch, you'll be a big hit. I believe they let you into the bumper cars drunk.

Oh, they definitely let you in there drunk. That's half the fun. Of course, you can't bring your beer in with you but there's really no time to drink while playing anyway.

Just got back from Chicago myself...wanted to see the Handsome Family, but I was booked pretty solid the whole time...didn't get to have any late night fun.

Got to hunt around the record shops though...some nice places you got for that.
