And tonight is going to be no different as I have to work from 8 am to 6 30 pm tomorrow. Need to be on my toes not falling over em.

I stayed home from my office job, sick -- my second sick day in eighteen months, each in February; Black History Month is out to get me, I swear -- with a tremendous head-cold (sinus pressure, right side of face; chest pain in area of sternum, left side; thigh pain, both), and my voice was shot this morning and my nose plugged with dried mucus. It got better as the day went along though, after my third dosing of Sudafed (little known fact: Sue D'Fed is the least popular stripper in NYC (from a Late Show top ten, c. Spring '94)) and a vitamin. So, when I tried to call in for my other job -- I figured I should, since a lot of co-workers from the first go there, and it would look suspicious for me to be to sick for one, but not t'other --, I didn't seem so sick I couldn't pull it, and they asked me to come in still. Once there, they did pull me from register in concessions and put me on usher, though, so I had a lighter night. Still, no drinking -- I'm sick. Plus, I work at 2 PM in the morrow.

Oh, I did have a Barq's Root Beer after my shift. Does that count?

On the way to the show I came across a friend at a bus stop who had a bowl so I took a quick hit before his bus came and proceeded. The problem with being drunk at 4:30 is being sober at 8:30
