Bon Jovi talk. All day. My coworker and her mom went to the show over the weekend and she's talking about the show like it's 1985 or whenever Bon Jovi was popular the first time around. She's even wearing her concert t-shirt over her work shirt. And she's now putting up all of her new BJ pins and singing that "Bad Medicine" song. Oh, and she got dog tags.

So I have tickets to see Wilco at the Ryman in Nashville this sunday, but so far haven't purchased my plane ticket, since I wasn't sure if the wife was going to come with me... Today I found out that I will be flying alone, and was shocked to see that tickets from my hometown -> nashville are over $650! WTF?

Plane tix from Detroit (8 hour drive on a good traffic day) are $130, but I can't find anywhere nearer that offer much of a discount. Am I fucked, or what?

Do I take the assraping and hope for a bump coupon? Do I drive from here to Nashville instead (15 hour drive)?

my dj name at that fake prom saturday was dj juan bon jovi, and i played none of his music. a friend suggested my next one should be dj juan benet ramsey.


and just to add something to this topic, there's an older guy at work that despises me and i was talking to one of my co-workers that's almost right across from him. i wasn't even talking about the older guy but my co-worker told me later that while i was talking to him the older guy looked at me then looked at him and muttered "fuck you...and fuck you" to us. after he told me that, i walked up to my co-worker and while i was talking to him, kept shooting glances at the old dude. he didn't bite tho. maybe tomorrow.
