I'm going in order for the most part. Wild hair, I guess. I could make up some long drawn out explanation out wanting to hear all of them consecutively and compare with societal context and musical evolution, but I more or less thought it would be kind of a cool way to burn a Saturday while I was working.

Hey Sweet Plastic Spoon of Frosted Truth, how are you liking the new Camper Van B? How does it rate next to their old stuff, or, in other words, is it worth my hard earned $?

It's very worthwhile musically. Just ignore the fairly clunky concept album nature of the vague storyline (the U.S. split into two countries, one liberal and one fundamentalist) and enjoy it for a buncha great CVB songs. It's about one third Monks Of Doom-sounding, one third Cracker sounding and one-third CVB-sounding, at least on what's been my second listen, but I really like it.

It's all about the violin, man.

I'll post more as I hear the album a few more times.
