Considering that billy g, Radcliffe, konstantin, Billzebub, and probably some others that make good mixes were left off of the other one, this could be good.

I'm still holding out hope that there will be some way for me to fit in over there with the big kids.

I feel like if everyone's just randomly submitting songs from any time and any genre, it'll be a big mess. Well, this one, at least. The other one will be mostly indie rock bands comprised of four young, white, males who play guitar, bass, and drums.


Although I guess we could all submit whatever song we want and DHR could be assigned the task of putting the songs into a listenable order.

I'm fine with that. I'm not sure it needs to be songs from 2008 but i guess making a yearly mix would require that the songs be from that time frame. Who wants to look back fondly of the 2008 mix with all those great songs from 77, 84, 99, 2006 and 2003. The 2009 mix was even better with those gems from 84, 86, 2007, 2009, and 1997...and so on.

Nah... In my opinion, we should be able to do a mix by ourselves - no "big kids" list... If I'm not wanted (a.k.a. not one of the top 40), I'll submit to DHR. If I get picked as a "replacement" (a.k.a. not likely), I'll do a diff. song...

Once someone PM's me and relays how easy uploading can be (or the easiest way to do it), I'll be submitting to this mix...
