I've never met a white person whose favorite actor is Mos Def or have who actually know who Mos Def is, none of the white people at work care about recycling and they don't drink bottled water. Never had a white friend spend a semester abroad and most of my white friends prefer Coors light to any other beer. They like bands after they get popular and hate sandwich shops.

i see what they're trying to do but i get sick of the "anti-hipster" cool that's taking over...it's just as bad as hipster cool.

I think this is also something to do with "white" as an attitude or way of thinking as opposed to just skin color.

Maybe i'll expand on the obvious:

White People Love to Blog

White people love writing journals on the internet to let all their friends (and the world at large) know how truly witty or informed they are. Sometimes these bloggers will even do podcasts with their friends and banter about current events, southern rock and SEC sports while giggling like school girls with each other. Writing and podcating frees their spirits and lets there words soar through out the universe. Deep down white folks are really hoping that someone will notice how funny, enlightened and entertaining they are and hire them to write about popular culture for their magazine or highly profitable website. White people keep plugging away at it despite the fact that only a handful of their friends check out their latest entries (the novelty wears off when you don't bring the goods) because white people never let their dreams die....no matter how out of reach they are.

Next time you get that e-mail or see a post on your favorite message board about someones new blog...just remember that guy is white....and probably fucking hates hipsters.

how's that? after Loogar pointed out that i was being a sensitive girl i realized that he's right. i'm now posting stuff that would make that site.

based on reading the site there are good white people and bad white people(i'll provide the reference after the gonzaga game)...so i'm explaining which ones hate NASCAR. (Good and Bad being addressed as abstracts from the sarcastic point of view of the site....Good=indie hipster, bad=other white people)

hopefully that clears it up.
