if they come in, play 99th dream and ignore all the great parts of their catalog I will never listen to them again.

The adam franklin show I caught last year was one of the worst in recent memory...everyone walked out.

yeah, just one sub-midtempo song after another, no energy, the band looked bored as shit...AND NO SWERVEDRIVER.

if you are going to bill the show as Adam Franklin FROM SWERVEDRIVER then he better be well prepared to pull out a few nuggets for the fans that showed up for him...yes, I get it...he's got a new album out, by all means play your new songs...but for chrissakes be a little bit humble.

yeah, there were maybe 30-40 people there, by the 5th song there were less than 10...he was BORRRRING.

I think I'd like this band even thought I've managed to miss them all these years.
I should remedy that. They're playing Austin in June, though it's at my least-favorite big venue in town.
