And thanks to my knack for being swindled by "orphans" going door to door to pay for college/dentist visits/drugs, I now am the proud owner of a three month subscription to Spin which, 1 month later, I have yet to see the first issue of.

I am currently trying to figure out what music mag I should subscribe to. I'm leaning towards magnet.
Any other suggestions?

Awesome.

Did you get CGW back in the Johnny Wilson/old school design days? God I loved that magazine. The ridiculous 3-4 page reviews were so satisfying.

God yea, I still have them all up in the attic, too. My wife thinks I'm a freak.

They have that "5 years.. 10 years.. 15 years ago in CGM" and I remember all those old issues.

Used to get CMJ, but I don't think I ever recieved half of what I paid for.

About half the year we get Entertainment Weekly, then we let it run out, get it, run out. Rinse Wash and Repeat.

This surprises me shiv. I never pictured you as the outdoor type.

What is Cargo?

Also, I've seen Resonance on a couple of people's lists. Can someone enlighten me on this one?

Currently, my free subscriptions are ending. If anyone knows a good (a.k.a. cheap) way of renewing some of these (like Time) I'd appreciate the info:

Time
Maxim
Stuff
Blender
ESPN
Sporting News
Interview

I haven't even opened that last two issues of Interview. They're just sitting there, with faces like ugly stepchildrens (or Hilary Swank's - I really can't tell the difference at this point)...

Anyone subscribe to No Depression? I love that magazine when they have good features but that's not often enough for me to justify subscribing.

Good, but not great. I still prefer Midnite Vultures and Mutations. This shan't appear on my year-end "Best of" list. Worth a listen, several fun tracks, but he's done this bit better before.
