I've heard a couple tracks off their 3 song sampler and they sound amazing. I'm holding off on listening to the entire album until it's released, though. Whenever that'll be.

So it was released today! My god I love this album. I'm about to start my fourth straight listen. Something's really gonna have to come out of left field for this to not be my #1 of the year.

These songs are so old tough.

At least 3 or 4 years.

I really hope he starts writing new stuff and release it in a timely matter.

This deff as a spot in my top 5 at year's end.

Yeah, that may be. But I didn't listen to them over and over with bootlegs. The only time I heard them was when I saw them live.
They're still fresh to me.

If I have to wait another 3-5 years...well, I will, but it won't be pleasant. There's no reason it should take this long for their next album, though.

no, i got distorted lullabies back when it first came out and liked a few songs on it but i didn't think it was a great album and sold it. i've got all their albums, except that one from 1994 on my computer. i just kinda think their songs don't live up to their potential.

I remember liking his powerful voice (Bono-like to me) on Distorted Lullabyes but not the songs so much

Can someone up one here for me to take a listen to?

People compare his voice to Thom Yorke, Bono, Jeff Buckley. I guess I hear similarities, but he always sounds like Jimmy Gnecco to me.

Would you dig them? Hard to say. They're a live band to me first and foremost. If you see them in person, they'll win you over. But anyway, I think this album deserves some recognition. Here are two songs from it, that shiv didn't manage to get to on his first listen.

his vox are very buckley-esque (which is a bonus in my books)...

he also use to be the guitar tech for the almighty buckley as well.

LIVE - they destroy...dude always puts chills down my spine
