I'm betting lots of hard earned cash that I will dig the hell out of this.

At any rate, it will be light years better than chinese democracy.

How could it not.

I can always upload the live versions of the new songs if y'all wants a preview.

I could link it here or shoot me a PM.

Have they really made press releases on the potential album or has NME been badgering them for the last 7 years and they refuse to say "no comment"?

Seems a bit out of character for NME to have such a long attention span.

Have you not seen all of the MBV updates from NME over the last 17 years?

The leak. Does Track One's low end sound off to anyone else?

Loaded this off of lots of different sources. Am I nuts?

Obviously I'm not expecting sonic gold from a leak.

it's pretty good. a couple of songs sound sorta like clinic.

but deep water is one of the worst songs i've ever heard.

I like it, but it's taking me quite a few listens to get the full flavor of the record.

I like how they are still using their signature sound (minus the scratching) and using it in a new direction.

Very strange record.

giving this a third (heh) listen now, and it's not really clicking. not bad, and i can see this sinking in over time...but i'm not floored by it or anything. i'm also not an uber-portishead fan who has been waiting a decade for this. i actually think her album with rustin man is far superior to any portishead release.

Yeah, this is pretty dismal. And before you mommysuckers even say it, I LIKE Portishead.
