I just tried logging on and it disconnected me. Tried again, then was told that I was banned for three hours. What goes on?

Try it again. I just cleared it. Am still unsure why that happens sometimes. If you notice any pattern with it, please let me know.

It's because you aren't putting "np:" at the bottom of your posts, probably.

What d'ya mean? The word "nope" has "np" in it.

I 'cleared' the list instead of 'removing' it. Try it (last time, I promise).

Only other thing I can suggest is wait three hours and see what happens. g got stuck once, and I cleared him OK first time. Not sure what's going on here. Sorry.

I'm having issues, too - browsing people's files and, primarily, understanding this active mode-ness, and how my Mac-ness affects how I should negotiate it. Assistance?

Tania, changed a few settings that may be buggy. Give it one last go.

Ish: active mode = knowing what IP address your machine is + opening ports on your firewall to enable access. This will help you with the first part, but I don't know jack about Mac firewall software.
