I don't have this, but I can only begin to imagine how painful it must be, given "Wildmania".

suit yourself but you can probably get by with a six and a couple cans of Krylon or Dust Remover.

Hey, look at me! I own these! WEEEEE

Some awesome choices in there like Super Ae.

However, I think I hate that Diamanda Galas album, but I've decided to keep it as sort of a curiosity. Also that USofA album is pretty meh, but you can trace back Broadcast's entire aesthetic to 2 or 3 songs on this. Yet I still think Broadcast makes for better listening.

Nice idea for a list, I think, even though I'm not too clear on the unifying concept.

Hmm.. mostly the same ones Drinky has.

I'm not sure how much all of these "fry your brain" though.

Saw this list several weeks ago and thought it pointless. What is next, best albums that mention days of the week?

There is NO rhyme or reason for these selections. I love a lot of these albums as well but what does this list mean?

np: Bright Eyes –I’m Wide Awake, It’s Morning

Bob Marley. Excellent piece in there about him. They also kindly put a CD filled with Studio One goodies on the front.

34. Barbara Streisand?!!!

"THE SOUNDTRACK to Barbra's fifth TV special, the plan was to explore - literally (and laterally) - the world of sound and music, as opposed to the world of just Babs again. This is Barbra on a sonic world trip, and the luggage is piled very high indeed - percussion from all global villages including darabukas, gagakus, o-daikos and baglamas, as well as Moogs, mellotron, Studers, Arps, a Putney and a Tempophon. And don't forget the bagpipes.

The numbers are standard Streisand, given a crucial insane twist. One Note Samba is all bent and Indian now and she sings it dangling from a rope. Come Back To Me is Babs talking to herself through delay-pedals. Don't Rain On My Parade is attempted as a tribal workout.

It climaxes with The World Is A Concerto, a piece "In tune with the rhythms of our daily lives" and so made from toasters, orange juicers, hoovers, kettles, a washing machine, blenders and a telephone. To Barbra fans this is either up there with the best or down there with the worst her worst. Whichever, it's still an extraordinary, prescient LP that borders on total musical madness and extreme genius."

These are also totally amazing, and stuff like Electric Wizard, Mainliner, Boris and Current 93 would probably fit really well here.

Then, see me at DC++. There's a couple things I can set you up with, and hopefully vice versa.
