I've got one from today. I left work two hours early due to being way over 40hrs and the fact I had someone to cover the rest of my shift. I boarded a different bus than I usually do since I didn't want to wait an additional 25 minutes for my line and could walk from the Mall near my house. When I boarded, I instantly smelled vomit and carefully chose my seat. As the bus began to clear of people once we left the ghetto I used to live in, a woman in front of me began discussing how the guy she lives with was busted for some sort of drug possession with a nearby passenger. Once the person left, she and the bus driver began complaining about kids sitting on the sidewalk and lowrise jeans on girls.
From what I heard this woman sounded like an enabler, and I found it funny that she would ridicule teenagers hanging outside a high school smoking cigarettes and wearing relatively normal clothes.

It went on this way the whole bus ride, all spoken aloud to the front half of the bus, dispite nobody really making eye contact with him. He'd say this, and then repeat it almost verbatim, without interruption, and was still doing so when I got off the bus fifteen minutes later. It made me a little sad, because dispite the crazy, there was something I kinda liked about him. Mental health's a funny thing.

We have a new regular character on the bus. Unlike The Ladies Man, who is nuts but charming and always entertaining, the new guy, Foot Man, is a little more disturbing.



Yesterday makes twice now I've seen him pull this move. His deal is this: He sits there, facing the aisle up front, with his feet kinda stretched out towards the lane. Last week a white business dude got on, walked past him, and suddenly Foot Man yells "HEY. EXCUSE ME. YOU JUST STEPPED ON MY FOOT, MAN!" Business man apologizes. FM continues to grumble and gripe about it out loud for the rest of my ride, another 5 or 6 minutes. He is visibly pissed off.

--Except business man didn't step on the guy's foot. I watched him walk on, he wasn't within 6 inches of the guy's feet.--

Yesterday, I hear "HEY...EXCUSE ME. EXCUUUSE ME! YOU JUST STEPPED ON MY FOOT, MAN." I look over and I recognize him from last week, because he's doing the same shit. And he's once again piiiissed off. This time it was a younger well-dressed white dude with headphones on. This time I couldn't see his feet, but the guy was like "what?! ..sorry." and kept walking, looking confused. And once again, Foot Man griped and bitched about how rude "that white dude" was.

I nudged the old black guy next to me and said "he did that same shit last week - yelled at someone for stepping on his feet who didn't."

"He did it last week too?"

Yeah man. Same thing.
