and it was really, really, really bad.

That is because, despite what a subsection of 20-something males think, Guy Ritchie is a hack.

Just saw Closer, which most of you have probably either already seen or don't care about. Little Nat's growing up nicely. Thought it was pretty good overall, although I completely lacked sympathy for 2 of the 4 major characters. I'd say which 2, but that probably would give it all away.

I Am Legend -- missed this in the theaters. Meh, wasn't bad, but wasn't that great neither.

that movie looked like a "I hope you've got your FF button intact" sorta flick.

This was so bad. Horrible. I cannot even fathom how this got to be so bad, and still got greenlit. I hope everyone involved with this never ever works in film. Sheesh. Do not pass go, and certainly do not, I repeat, do not collect $200.

And now I remembered what it was that I wanted to say about it:

I thought it was pretty funny how Gehry's critics were represented by a guy who had to be pretty much the biggest douchebag they could find. The dude was the most stereotypically pompous art critic I've seen. It was like he was really a comedian pretending to be an art critic. Of course, someone on this board probably knows who he is and respects him for some reason...

True story about Stephen Glass, a writer who plagiarized just about every article he wrote for the magazine The New Republic.

I didn't think I was gonna like this, but it was actually pretty entertaining, Peter Sarsgaard was terrific.

I finally saw 28 Days Later last night for the first time.

It was good, and had some really good moments around the middle of the movie. I dunno, though. The ending was strange.

Peeping Tom is fantastic, assuming you mean the Michael Powell one from 1960.
