I just read the NYM boxscore and it hit me that the Twins really did trade Santana.

Fuk.

i saw santana pitch at spring training and sat next to a woman from minneapolis who was like, "that's... weird." then she asked me about the prospects the twins got for him.

I remember feeling sick when I saw Mussina with a Yankees hat, so I understand.

Though I doubt Twins fans feel the same way about the Mets that Orioles fans feel about the Yankees.

Gar probably felt that way seeing Glavine in a Mets cap. Happy ending though, it seems.

It's not that bad since it's NL--just hard to take since I don't think there's another pitcher even close to him right now in skill. Maybe Peavy, but I don't the NL nearly as well.

Oh definitely. But at least he didn't go to Cleveland or something.

Word.

This is from the Mets box score right now:
"A.Pagan doubled to left..."

He's no Satan, but that's a good sports name.

I was just about to say the same thing. Hopefully he gets better, but spring training and this are not good signs.

so i missed most of this today, hardly any night games. i recorded the Giants/Dodger game on DirecTV but because it was the Giant feed they blacked me out because i'm in the Los Angeles market. i know Zito got lit up but i wanted to see it unfold, will watch Dodger replay later tonight.

That wasn't much of a squashing.
I'm not a Royals fan, so I don't really want to rub it in. I was happy to read that Alex Gordon hit a homer, but too bad he was 1-5 in the game.
