Broken record here, but: Racebannon. Should be out in May now. Don't know if it's leaked or not (don't care).

And whatever happened to Need New Body? I actually liked their last album.

If we wish hard enough...
Click our heels three times...

It just might show up.

As the same time as a new

EMMITT RHODES
record.

There's gonna be a new Flipper record?

Good, I need something new to play to make people leave at the end of a night.

Yeah, produced by Jack Endino.

"As of March 2008 the new album is officially done, however the band is apparently still searching for a label to release it."

oh.

The Joggers.
The New Year.

Supposedly both will be out this year.

With Chaz doing the Okkervill thing and such, I'm not holding out hope for anything Wrens-related until next year at best.

I was mildly disappointed with the last releases from 2 favorites, Shadow and Wilco, so I'm on the lookout for something new from both to restore my faith. But I'll be patient for those.

Good call. That one's going to take forever. I don't think she's even started it yet. And I have no doubt it's going to be great.
