Honestly, I'm going to have to give my vote to the Butthole Surfers - "Hurdy Gurdy Man" I just dug this out and it is the holy grail of the Scotch Guard/massive painkillers/chinese food/and innapropriate thoughts revolution that is sweeeping our fine nation.

i always get the Butthole Surfers confused with The Barenaked Ladies (remember that song "one week"?).....the name's are just similar, somehow.

That would be a hell of a tour, actually.

Best video. Tough call. Probably Fishbone's homage to It's A Wonderful Life.

np: Frank Black and the Catholics - "Massif Centrale"

Both for two totally different reasons:

1. Billy Idol, "Cradle of Love"
2. UNKLE, "Rabbit In Your Headlights"

Re:FT's avatar

Where oh where are you tonight?
Why did you leave me here all alone?
I searched the world over and I thought I'd found true love.
But you met another and PTHHP! you was gone

I found this to be hilarious when I was about 6.

Kudos for identifying the avatar, Steve, but shame on you for not STILL thinking it's funny! (haha)

even though the song was butt, Prodigy's "Smack my bitch up" was really cool and took a chance. "rabbit in the headlights" is a very close second.

I remember not being able to turn off any of Peter Gabriel's late 80's/early 90's videos (Sledgehammer, Big Time, Steam, etc).
