Sci-Fi Network has done some great things over the years, but these damn made-for-Sci-Fi movies that clunk up their schedule are getting ridiculous. Mansquito? What, do they crank these damn movies out in some loft in Vancouver with thirty bucks and a laptop or something?

Last night, I happened to catch the end of some children's program on Animal Planet featuring the exotic animals of Australia. Apparently, when the first Europeans landed on the island-continent, they noticed strange animals hopping all of the motherfucker (I'm paraphrasing). AFraid of the extraordinary species, they asked the first Aborigines they ran into what the furry things were. The Aborigines responded, "kangaroo". And so it was.

'Kangaroo' in Aborigine means "I don't have the slightest fucking clue what you're on about."

I thought that was funny. Pass it along.

Billy Rad makes all those? The man's busy, I'll give him that. And he does occasionally hire Ron Perlman, so that's cool.
