pretty much. sometimes i think tat fox gets these good shows (which ultimately get cancelled) just because they took a chance on the Simpsons however many years ago. Are the big three networks refusing these serises, or are these shows already in that assumption when they go bangin on rupert's door?

While I typically hold that British humor is perhaps the most overrated thing on Earth, this was a horrible idea. In fact, 99% of all translations are a horrible idea.
