Anybody else dig these guys as much as I do? "Balloon Maker" and "Kingfish Pies" are stunning.

That should be "Bamnan."

Have only heard two songs online that I can remember, but looking it up, it looks to be a kind of Grandaddy-meets-Beatles rock opera. Is that true?

If so I'll check it out.

it is pretty good. i do like kingfish pies a lot. i know discostu likes them as well...think they made his top 20.

Yes I dig'em. Texas based band gets signed to UK based label.

I heard about them through Eisley cause they've been carrying the Midlake torch over the past 2 years. I picked up Bamnan and Slivercork the week it was released when I was at Waterloo in Austin. It is a good disc. The best track is "Kingfish Pies."
