You guys are probably all at work or asleep or something 'cause I live in the weird and wonderful FUTURE, but you can play catch up. Just got home from college ball, feel fucked, but I got the house to myself and am eager to get stuck into

a couple of these:

then a sixer of these:

Then maybe heading out to a bar somewhere in a few hours. Maybe.

Coopers Sparkling has to be my favourite beer. If you can find it in the imports section, definitely check it out.

Oh man, the last time I've had Leffe was Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day in Quebec City in 2002 while hiding from thousands of drunken Quebecois running amok on French pride. That shit gives you a fucking awful hangover.

Never noticed the after effects. Maybe I've just never had enough of it in one sitting. I consider getting one anytime I see it on tap.

I personally attributed it to its sweetness, as it reminded me of an ice beer hangover. However it could also be I was drinking it from mid-evening to close.

yeah these fuckers are 8.2% alc vol. too, so that probably factored into the equation.

Interesting, I don't remember the Leffe in Belgium being that high in alcohol content, but maybe so. It was more like the Bud of Belgium, and not all that good. Duvel is an honest 8% and tastes good to boot.

I too have to be up early and at work by 7am, so I will be calling it a night very soon.

One Gin and Tonic while working on a major report. No need to get too creative.

I have Pub Club tomorrow night which will help make up for this miserable evening.

It's friday night, but what the fuck:

Got four Coopers Sparkling left from last night, then I'm about to work my way through a carton of Tooheys Pure Pilsener. About to get 4 tabs and an 8 ball delivered.

Hello ladies.

(Goodnight Mick)

A really nice, flavorful, well-balanced beer.
