Never noticed the after effects. Maybe I've just never had enough of it in one sitting. I consider getting one anytime I see it on tap.

I personally attributed it to its sweetness, as it reminded me of an ice beer hangover. However it could also be I was drinking it from mid-evening to close.

yeah these fuckers are 8.2% alc vol. too, so that probably factored into the equation.

Interesting, I don't remember the Leffe in Belgium being that high in alcohol content, but maybe so. It was more like the Bud of Belgium, and not all that good. Duvel is an honest 8% and tastes good to boot.

On a hot day and/or night, I can be seen sucking down a few of these bad boys.....Available in most stores....
