What do you guys and girls use to shave? I just bought this new Braun Self-Cleaning Electric Shaver System today and so far, it works really well. I used to use an old Remington rotary shaver but it was a pain to clean, so I hope that my new futuristic sci-fi shaver will serve me better in the long run.

I hate to shave so I grew a beard four years ago and haven't looked back. I take care of my neck with the Gilette Sensor they sent me in the mail in 1994.

Three-blade straight razor, and Gillette shave-creme. Everywhere but my chin, where I have a nice shrub.

... Oh, and I have never shaven anything else. Not back nor chest nor scrote nor legs.

Don't call me a faggot!

I have an older electric Braun I bought nealy 10 years ago that I'm pretty happy with. I've had to change the foil only twice since originally purchasing it. As long as I don't let the stubble go for too long it does a pretty good job without having me do touch ups with a regular razor.

If I could afford the self-cleaning one you have, I'd get that one too. This old one needs manual cleaning every month or so and its kind of time consuming.

Quatro, baby... Four blades of shaving prowess...

Though I've been using a really crappy beard trimmer for a while - I've been in the mood to leave some roughage...

Have used Norelco rotary shavers for years. Wanted to update and received a Remington for Christmas a few years back. It tore up my face and bought another rotary from Norelco but spent some money on it. It’s quite old now and would be in the market to check out other one’s.

I still can’t believe people use straight razor today, but maybe that has more to do with the horror of using those when I had acne. Once you get use to electric though, you never go back.

I hate electric shavers. They bring me out in a rash.

You and I both, brother; you and I both.

I credit it of course to my hyper-masculinity, and resultant extra-thick bearding. The electric can only handle so much five o'clock shadow, and beyond that, it goes into overdrive, tearing at the skin. With the straight razor, though, there is not just user-control on the motion and speed of the blades, but also that buffer of shave-creme.

Yah yah.

Mach 3 every other day (I guess I'm not a real man, because I don't need to shave every day).

I've been testing out the new battery-powered Mach 3 vibrating razor thingy. It's given me a nice close shave, but once again, Mach 3's razors only last for 3-4 shaves. Great little gimmick. Aveda shave cream here. No foam.

I just got a Mach 3 Powered about 2 months ago. Mine lasts for 2-3 weeks shaving every day, though. Admittedly, I don't grow facial hair all that fast, being half asian and all.

I use a Mach 3 Turbo. And I also shave other parts of my body but that's no secret.

I've got pretty course hair and shaving twice a week thrashes my blade, I guess. I've never had much luck with any blade really. And I"m not big on the electrics.
