The point wasn't the artists he uses not being famous enough.

anyways, as good or better than night ripper.

i've listened to it like 5 or 6 times already and i don't know if i'm on the better than night ripper side of the fence yet. there's some really good sample mixes, just the list of them is amazing, but i don't know if anything comes close to biggie + elton john.

my favorite right now is the thin lizzy + souljah boy.

my only complaint is that it starts a bit slow. but he's able to stretch the songs out to longer lengths and still keep 'em fun to listen to

Scratch that - started listening to it last night, and couldn't go to sleep until it was over. Passed out 5 copies of it today to friends, and have listened to it three times already.

Sure, this probably won't hold my attention for much longer, but it's got a f'in grip on it right now. Was Night Ripper like this / this good? If so, if anyone has it for me to listen to, I'd appreech...

already went back and donated some cash, but I'm (mostly) waiting for the Wham City vinyl...

i'm actually listening to that fake leak of this album and it's not quite as polished as girl talk's stuff but there's some parts that are pretty good.

i got it through a torrent but i think it's mashcore volume 2 on this guy's myspace.

I'm thinking of giving this to the gf, but I'm scared to death she'll like it and I'll have to hear it for the next couple years.

i wouldn't worry about that. It's good enough but it sorta wears out after a few listens.

For the couple weeks or so that I'll listen to this, it's awesome.

yeah, pretty good, and great for parties, except when really dirty lyrics are repeated over and over during a lull in conversation.

If repeated dirty lyrics are such a big deal at your parties, you go to the wrong sort of parties...

Yeah, gets me through the afternoon doldrums at work. Least until one of the librarian-like copy editors complains they can hear it coming out of my headphones and asks/tells me to turn it down.
