What I'm doing a bad job of saying is- I saw them live and they were all style and no substance. They did know how to make the girls squeal and yammer on about bullshit and how cool they were in between songs. As a band- they were terrible, they had as much identity as any new wave cover band. Seemed like they were into the scene, but not into being a good band to me- just my opinion.

I like them. I've seen them live a few times and loved them every time. They can be a bit derivative but so much fun to listen to. I like the new album, but you must get their EP, Bob. I think it's called Fine Lines. Although, they sound like Spoon, I like to compare them to Sloan. A good decent band that keeps you coming back for more.

He's in Mobile setting up an office for a mayor's race and has no internet connection as of yet save his nightly dinners at Panera where they have it.

I listened to this today and while I made it all the way through the album I couldn't remember a single song afterwards. It was okay but nothing really stood out enough to warrant a purchase or even going to see them live. Yeah so I guess I'm glad I didn't go see them last night.
