I would have figured a search for "assassination" would have been more likely to pull up that image.

Realized too late I forgot to include You Be Illin'...but I'm sure you can find that track around somewhere. Besides, this thing already leans heavily on Raising Hell anyway.

I'm not sure ANY tenner, no matter the strength, can overcome such overwhelmingly negative expectations. That being said I think that this is a fair representation of some of Panic's better studio cuts from 1988-1999. It probably won't convince you to suddenly understand the attraction to the band but it is, if nothing else, some damn good music for being outside.

I've never heard anything by this band that I know of, and the picture alone is enough to really, really frighten me off.

IMO - Gomez caught teh suck after Liquid Skin, but those first two records were great. Another band with a great live reputation who have lost the ability to make good records.

They jumped the shark when Harry Potter joined the band.

Even the first two records aren't that great, but I loved 'em at the time.

That mix is interestingly heavy on the newer stuff.

That pic has been photoshopped to death. Those are separate portraits re-assembled into one, and for god's sake man, go easy on the "blur" tool.

I'm about down to the point that I'd have to move my turntable and start ripping vinyl to come up with anything even marginally interesting for even a couple people here. Nobody wants or needs a V. Morrison or J. Armatrading tenner, and that's what it's getting down to on ceedee here.

Also, I think I'd like to take a crack at some Bobby Bare too. There is a need for more country tenners too.

I gots all that stuff too, but like I said before, it would take a major life-style change to rip vinyl and come up with tenners for him, John Hartford, Hoyt Axton (Mongeriffic), and several other twangy favorites that reside only on vinyl here.

I noticed that there wasn't much country too. I could do Emmylou Harris, but she didn't even get a single vote when I polled obners on what tenners they were interested in. I have a ton of Johnny Cash but so do a bunch of people here. I thought about trying to do a Rodney Crowell one but i think i'd have to buy an album or two more of his to really do him justice. I also thought about Kris Kristofferson but I think the "Kristofferson" album is so much better than his others that I'd have a hard time having it not end up at least half off of that.

Yeah, I think I'm concentrating on the C&W this week. Like you, I really like going through my records to see what I have and don't have/want.

I'd like some Emmylou, too. I had to vote for Mark but I'd throw a vote for her too.

Here's a request for a couple of bands for which I've heard one song that I really really like...

The Geraldine Fibbers
Whiskey Buscuit

Here are a couple I'm going to try to do today or tomorrow...

The Feelies

Echo & the Bunnymen
