I screamed through S1 OnDemand, and picked up on S2 this Sunday. I think it's funny that NO ONE on this show is likeable, aside from maybe Cooper.

I love Draper's philosophy on advertising, too. He's had some spot-on lines.

Draper's secretary Olsen is maybe the most likable character is S1, at least until she drops that bomb in the final episode. I love the way she treats Campbell after he screws her over.

Season 1 seemed to go a bit overboard with everyones sex life. So far from the first ep of S2 it seems like the generation gap is going to be a big issue. That & Mrs Draper going stray.

I'm hooked & I can't wait for Breaking Bad to come back

I'd stray in Mrs. Draper's BUKK any day. She fine a hell.

Also, the redheaded secretary.

And any time you think Bert Cooper is likeable, remember he is a Nixon Republican, Ayn Rand reader who likes Draper because he is a ruthless mofo.

Good point. Perhaps I just want an office full of Asian art.

Hey look, I'd like to be a rich, fu manchu bearded, bow tie wearing, bonsai tree trimming, ad agency owning Republican as much as the next guy. I just don't know if he's likable ;)

Favorite thing about S2 so far: Draper's wife has a hobby and the outfits are HAWT.

I don't think that Betty giving Don's card to Juanita doesn't mean that he won't be making a deposit to her college fund if you know what i mean.

Took about 3 episodes but I really enjoyed the first season. I could definitely get behind the whiskey bar in the office concept.

Were they installing a lock or changing the lock on Don's door in the beginning?

I'm not sure. I may have to go back and watch again.

Guys like Cooper were the good Republicans back before the Fundamentalists and supply siders came on the scene.

And "Nixon Republican" could be a misleading term depending on the year/context you are using it in. But you know this.

Man that character has daddy issues. I also love how he was watching cartoons in the first episode of season 2.

I've only watched the first two episodes of season one, but very impressed. It took me a while to realise where i recognised the "Pete Campbell" actor from (Vincent Kartheiser). I'm a big Larry Clark fan and he had one hell of a performance (in my opinion) as a young junkie thief in Another Day In Paradise. Good shit.

Yeah, I was just thinking that even though I'm a little behind on Generation Kill and need to catch up, I am NOT missing Mad Men when it comes on tonight.

We're about to finish disc 3 from season 1 tonight.

It took me a few episodes to TRULY get into the show. There were some moments I wasn't that in to it.

But holy jesus I love this show now. And frankly I like the two secretaries better then the wives, they actually come across more honest despite their misdeeds. At least they don't hide who they are unlike Mrs Obnoxious(Pete's wife) and Mrs. Unaffected psychopath(Betty). gah I cannot STAND Betty.

I do however LOVE Don. Oh my dear lord, for many reasons.
