What good is a pressure washer that can't out-piss me? Jeez.

soooo, when you said you wanted something with better gas mileage, what you really meant was "much, much worse" gas mileage.

i don't think i ever said anything about gas mileage. i just wanted a car that's not going to break down all the time and cost me thousands to get fixed. that way, i can spend those thousands on gas!

Gas mileage concerns are for the weak. Or worse, pinkos.

sorta wrong.

Quote:
The Modern Postal Service: Agency or Business?
Until adoption of the Postal Reorganization Act of 1970, the U.S. Postal Service functioned as a regular, tax-supported, agency of the federal government.

According to the laws under which it now operates, the U.S. Postal Service is a semi-independent federal agency, mandated to be revenue-neutral. That is, it is supposed to break even, not make a profit.

In 1982, U.S. postage stamps became "postal products," rather than a form of taxation. Since then, The bulk of the cost of operating the postal system has been paid for by customers through the sale of "postal products" and services rather than taxes.

I'm just watching San Jose v LA Galaxy on FSN. The commentary is equally hilarious and disturbing. We have balls popping in the air, streaks, turnovers, takeaways, flops, banged melons, players on the nod, snapping off, advertisments blaring out from the tannoy whilst the game in progress. I'm fucking bemused.

Excellent. What's the ETA on D. Hall becoming wheelchair-bound?

It's Gregory Peck Day on TCM. Just finished watching "The Yearling"...goddamn, the last 10 minutes of that film always leaves me bawling like a baby.

Next up, 'Roman Holiday' -- one of my fave films.

Not yet. Unless DH has gone Mike Utley in the last three weeks, he remains on two legs.

Daryl Hall live, 13th July 2008

(Also, found footage of DH at SXSW. Do not know if his appearance coincided with any of your Obner all-skates, but had it, you should have gone.)

I didn't see the actual performance, but I did see his interview with Ann Powers, and met him afterwards.

Fuckstick.

I initially read this as lead (leeeeeed) shortage, as in, there is a shortage of power leads. Now I remain forever dumber.
