Watching Sunday Morning yesterday, I realized for the first time how much This Guy Has Crack looks like a young Steve Winwood.

his live show? it's usually just him on his computer dancing around with a ton of other people on stage.

yeah, that's essentially what it was yet again. he presses play on the first song and the stage fills with people. he never plays tracks exactly as they were recorded, but there are times when he drops a minute or two straight from the albums.

this morning
a REALLY attractive woman released a GORGEOUS fart on the elevator.

at first, i was thankful that i got to the elevator on time to ride up with this beauty.
the elevator was scented with her womanly pleasantness.

then about halfway up.
i went in for the second whif...i nearly puked.

it was so awkward

i've thought about it a lot today.
i'd much rather have been the farter in this situation

i felt so rotten for her. she knew that i knew.
ladies aren't supposed to do that.

Shoulda looked at her, raised an eyebrow, and one-upped her.

The roommate situation keeps getting weirder.
Went to a mutual friend's party on Sat., and in an interesting role reversal, unknowingly creeped drunk women out, while he was sober.
And then today on a follow-up from "O" magazine, Rachael Ray's magazine showed up.
In conjunction with the daily identification of this kid's missed social cues and/or development,
I'm formulating a unifying theory of pussification.
I'll report back in a couple weeks.

I'm arguing with an employee who is trying to be creative.

She took two days off from work to attend her stepfather's funeral services. No problem, her employer gave her the time off. Unfortunately for her, there is no Bereavement Leave, so the time is unpaid. She is now arguing that it should be applied to Sick Leave. Well...you weren't sick, lady, can't do that either. Her comeback was that she took time off for "emotional illness" (I truly LOL'd when I read that). Nope, sorry that won't work either -- you called and sent a text that you were attending funeral services.

Now, you might think...damn, her employer is being unsympathetic. Well, maybe. But, the employer also loaned her $5000 after being employed less than a month. The employee has yet to pay the money back. And, at this point in time, is uncertain how she will do so.

She's a user and manipulating her employer big time.

I'm not feeling great today and not in the mood to put up with employee shenanigans.

Looks like I won't get to meet my 4 month old half-brother for the first time when I go to Alabama next week. My dad is splitting up with the mother and moving all his shit out this week due to her craziness.

About half of the people on my flight from O'Hare to LaGuardia seemed to be coming from Lollapalooza (Lollapaloozers?).

I'm fixing up the frame on the Dick Nixon portrait I nabbed for $3 at the thrift store a while back. Sanded it, repainted it, maybe do some other shit, but mostly I just want to frame an ELVIS/NIXON FOR PRESIDENT IN '76 sign in the same frame, because it's a good fit.

As I was carefully taking apart this old-ass frame, inside I found 18x24 portraits of Ike and LBJ, too.
