However how good can you be having not played live for over 12 years?
I don't see anywhere that says he hasn't played live in 12 years. The blurb says he played 5000 capacity shows in South Africa in 1998 even. I doubt he's played anything that big since but I don't think that means he ever gave up playing even if he gave up on music being his primary source of income.
He apparently played last month in Detroit, which i only found out after seeing this show. I'd assumed he was dead.
Its a great album in any case. It very nearly made my listmania. I'd definitely go if I was in NYC or he played out here.
