Lloyd Cole and the Commotions are much more popular than they were last time we did this. Cole was my favorite artist for most of my life. Oddly enough, he made my list last time but so far hasn't this time. Still might reconsider. I couldn't decide between S/T (which i picked last time), Rattlesnakes or Easy Pieces, and punted and left him off completely.

Some other nice unconventional picks:

13. Joni Mitchell- The Hissing of Summer Lawns
16. Squeeze- Argybargy
52. Gilberto Gil- Gilberto Gil (69)
86. Culture- Two Sevens Clash

I downloaded that Dr. John - Babylon album last weekend. I'm hoping I agree its that good. Gris Gris seems to get most of the love. I personally like Dr. John's Gumbo the best so far.
