Tonight - Drive to Charleston (Mt. Pleasant) to stay with FemDerris' sister and husband for her 30th birthday.

Tomorrow - Sleep in. Watch UGA/Ga Southern game. Hit the beach.

Afternoon check in to here:

FemDerris' sister's husband has this place for a week for her birthday. It's at the tip of Sullivan's Island overlooking the Charleston Harbor/Fort Sumter.

I'm gonna do some serious NOTHING, drink some cold beer, and look at this for 3 days:

Should be a house full of people and I plan on scaring everyone with some Black Oak Arkansas all weekend.

Sunday - Going here:

FemDerris' sister's husband is entering this with his team in the Ribs category. They are "The Smoker Ace and the Fastest Chickens in the South".

Birthday party at the beach house after the BBQ thing is over with keg buried in the sand late afternoon, blackout to follow......

Monday - DEAG

This looks so amazing I can't even describe my jealousy. You should do one of them Squirrgle-esque threads and give us photo adventure updates so we can do the vicarious living thing.

Tonight: chill in the hotel. Maybe run to Noodles & company or Wazoo for some grub.
Saturday: Head into downtown Denver, go shopping, find a sports bar, and watch some college football.
Sunday: BBQ @ friend's place, maybe help somebody clean up their laptop.
Monday: Another BBQ @ different friend's place

We went on a bicycle/booze/food bender, somewhat unexpectedly. Went to bed at 10:30, woke up at 2 with a headache.

My new smoker/grill had its maiden voyage with a jerk-marinaded pork roast, 2 large slabs of ribs, 5 lbs of locally made link sausage, and some ears of corn. The results were well-received, but this guy thought the pork roast was a little spicy.

You missed some great intersection jam-ups, and seeing 12 U-Hauls at one time.

So there.

not on a bicycle it wasn't, thank jebus. But I thought a greenline conductor was gonna get off that train and murder somebody a few times. Bad day to be in a car, for goddam sure. Dudes carrying matresses through intersections and shit.

My routine over the last few days:

breakfast
30-40 km on the bike through cornfields, farmland and beach villages
lunch
beach, sunbake
frisbee
swim in the bay
tennis
baseball
swim
beer scotch wine
bbq
country pie
doobs
stargazing
fade into sleep
rinse and repeat

I hate city life.
