I never got columbus day off in elementary school...

Anyways, yeah, this sucks...I deal with a lot of public agencies and state employees...they're all gone...I'm almost done with my work now and its barely 10am!

No, I work for a electric company for the sate of Maine.

I used to work with studen loans, but my entire department got laid off and moved to a different state (long story).
Had to find a job fast.

Been here for 4 weeks.


And this is my life.

Could be worse, I suppose.
I could be unemployed. :x

At least there is overtime for a few more weeks.

No mail either. I always forget that Columbus day is a holiday to certain agencies and not others. Schools seem to make their own rules concerning it.

I really had no problem working yesterday after taking a four day weekend to help my mom prepare for her move to Lincoln.
I just didn't like coming back to my job and taking shit from my boss over events and paper work I had no control over during my absence.
