Wow.

I can vouch for the Southern Culture On The Skids - Doublewide and Live as being well worth it. My copy came w/ a live DVD as well as a CD.

Thanks for the post. Here's the link. http://www.yeproc.com/news.php?articleId=5686

There's a few things on there I might pick up...how much is shipping, though?

according to the site if you spend 0-32 dollars on physical product it's 4 bucks for shipping. though i'm sure the table was calculated on the original prices and not the sale prices. i'll investigate further tomorrow.

2 CDs plus shipping was $14 for me, so the $4 seems to be accurate.

This is tempting, but I'm currently broke. Is Zeno Beach any good compared with classic Radio Birdman?

There are some really good tracks on the $2 Pistols disc, though it's not a complete home run.

No, I don't think so. Bloor or possibly Busty would be the ones to make it, I think. I don't have any of it here either. That title track (you ruined everything) is fucking phenominal, too.

Bloor turned me on. They played his brother's wedding reception.

Good stuff.

Its not as good as the first run RB stuff but its a respectable comeback album.

I like that John Doe album too which features guest appearances from Dave Alvin, Neko Case, Cindy Lee Berryhill and Kristin Hersh.

Both are good albums that have gotten somewhat lost in my collection so I can't feel comfortable recommending them too strongly. Anyway, $5 isn't that great a deal for either considering you could readily find either for under $3 used from an amazon z-shop. I suspect that's true for most of these.

$10 for that Fujiya & Miyagi album, Ventriloquizzing, got me to bite. Didn't realize they were on Yep Roc. Seems an odd pairing.
