I once spend a night getting drunk doing drugs and hanging out with some guy in Savannah and talking about Fugazi and stuff when he decided to put on the audio tape of everyone dying really loud and was like "try to guess what this is!"

about 4 minutes later I was out the door and I never saw him again. That wasn't even the weirdest part about that guy.

this batshit crazy friend of a friend wanted to hang out and have some beers one night and everything was kind of normal for awhile and then out of nowhere she goes "i can't watch horror movies anymore" so i play along and ask why and she pulls up her sleeve and she's got a HUGE scar running down her forearm. she started to tell me about it but i think i yawned in her face, told her i was tired and left.

I think I might still have his copy of Titus, if you want it.
I'm kind of worried that I might bump into that dude next week and suspiciously run out of the bar flailing and punching.

How has someone not come up with a virus that's disguised as album download on one of these upload sites?

Like if it was an .rar file and said like...U2's next album (yeah we know, people that don't like U2 wouldn't download it jackass) and when you opened it up it attacked your shit.

Has this been done and I don't know about it?

Is it okay to plug a tv into an extension cord, and then the extension cord into a surge protector?

For some reason, I think I've heard not to do this--like the extension cord negates the surge protection or something.

I believe the answer is: if your TV has no ground wire (third prong), there is no issue. If it does, the extension cord should also have a ground wire that connects the ground on the TV to the one on the surge protector.

It's ghetto as hell, but there's no particular safety issue. The extension cord does not "negate" anything the surge protector might have done for you.

And the ground wire only comes into play with GFCI's (ground fault circuit interrupts), not surges. Don't drop your tv in the bathtub.

Ghetto, eh? Mostly, it's just that these old houses only have so many outlets, and in inconvenient spots.

so Kyle, you're telling me that if there is a ground line, I can bring the TV in the tub with me? I wanna watch underwater Cheers

there's a scene in Role Models where on a camping trip the one guy was getting ready to bang and he and the girl took a bunch of Ambien and were slapping each other trying to stay awake and feel fucked up.

I don't ever think it's gotten to that point, but sometimes it's fun when you take it, then the phone rings or you remember something and you're walking around in a daze trying to remember what the hell you were trying to do.

South Carlsbad State Beach
Torrey Pines City Park.
Stone Brewery.

Imperial Beach was kinda fun in a scummy sort of way.
