I had never heard of any of them prior to your thread. Thanks. I'll definitely keep an eye out for when they're released here.

i'm not even sure it's on netflix (it wasn't the last time i tried) and i don't really give a shit if you return it to me. I can only watch that fucker about once a year or else it loses all potency.

some dude at work. like I said I haven't watched it yet but I'll mail it out as soon as i do. He tells me season 2 is infinitely better, though the first is needed for character development.

so i only saw two movies, Image and Image. Clara et Moi was a pretty good modern romance with some of those surreal touches but a pretty realistic ending that i liked. l'equipier wasn't as good and basically involved a group of repressed small town people arranging a lot of matches. basically everything was too long a wait for what was a slightly underwhealming followthrough.

my question is more regarding if other people have gone to festivals, what kinds of things did they see and how was the experience. i think that the long, long waits and delays were due to the sellout crowds, which then made the atmosphere in the theatre contentious as people jostled for seats, sometimes violently. the good thing about french films is that the crowd pretty much makes you the baddest dude in the room so that was fun.
