The Jam: Snap!

One of the greatest compilation albums ever. Grabs much of the best material off the Jam's albums, along with a host of singles and some b-sides to rival anything else on here. A special highlight is the excellent demo version of That's Entertainment that I personally prefer over the full version. Sadly, for years this had been abbreviated for CD, chopping 8 songs from the vinyl version. Luckily, it is now available in a 2 CD version that presents the original album in its entirety. This is the ideal starter for those new to The Jam, yet old fans have likely been listening to this for years without getting tired of it. My vinyl copy I bought when this first came out is one of the most worn records in my collection.

I'm sorry it took until December to hear this. I quite like it.

My mom's boss gave me around 150 vinyls for free that he no longer wanted. I've been meaning to get around to posting the list to find out what's good/what's not, but this was one of them. Based on the cover, I figured it was some late 80s/early 90s album by them and never looked any further into it.
