This and Sharpies. mmmm Sharpies......

Oh and I suggest at least one Cross blue ink pen for everyone. Make it your "lucky" pen and use it to sign important documents like mortgages.

I bet Robotboy writes with a crayon. And not a nice quality Crayola crayon from the nifty 64 pack with the included sharpener, it's probably some cheap crayon sold at the 99c Store.

Got me one of these (the fountain pen on the right), best thing I've ever held (writing utensil-wise)

Ah, finally a thread to satisfy my obsessive-compulsive tendencies. For most of my work, I use Uniball VISION micros, mainly Black and Red ink. I see that several people like those.

Hey Yail, is that the Zebra? I forget the brand. I found out in college that if you take them apart and flip the metal nib around backwards these make fabulous one-hitters that can then be washed in the dishwasher and reassembled as a pen. Hooray for hidden habits!

I also have a couple of journals that for whatever reason don't take the uniball ink well, so I have a couple of good, cheap ballpoint pens that I use to write in them.

I had to buy some Rolling Writers today..seriously, I have used all of the pens mentioned and pictured here (save fountain) and the Pentel Rolling Writer trumps them all. I am personwho has to take copious notes, sign things, etc.. all day...trust me you'll never go back.

I use Uniball VISION

sign my name by 'fine.'

when i write, i press down hard. i like the thick hearty lines and uniball owns the whole category. the vision elite is unbeatable -- my fave's green. somebody around the office uses felt tip. i want to hurt them. those suckers run out so quick, its like it gets good action for 5 minutes and then you're left with assy skid marks for the remainder.

the most satisfying part about vision elite is the cap, the little round thing at the end? yeh, if you're a pen-biter, those things are heaven.
