Yeah, maybe my life is really fucking boring these days, but I think that aside from The Wire this is the best show to ever come on TV. The key I guess will be how long they go on with it because right now I'm ready to ride this thing all the way to the 80's.

Granted this show takes a much slower pace than the Wire, but it also doesn't have those sopranos episodes that go nowhere. Everything means something, however subtle. My wife hasn't even seen the first season.

bought s1 on dvd a week or so ago and agree with a lot of the comments above...one of the few times something like this is actually better than my expectations.

I'm finally caught up on this. While it's definitely better than the Sopranos ever was, I'm still on the fence. The last episode of the second season really tied everything together for me.

which by no means means I'm going to stop watching it.
